About this artwork

This painting was inspired by the beautiful water lilies pond of Claude Monet and was made using the impasto technique, with thick strokes using a palette knife.

In the vibrant strokes of my painting, I passionately captured an ephemeral instant at a tranquil pond, rich with blooming flora and softly floating lilies. Using oil paints, I infused the canvas with the essence of Impressionism and Expressionism, weaving emotion and movement into every… shade and line. This piece invites viewers to pause and immerse themselves in serene contemplation, bringing a tranquil energy into any living space.
