About this artwork
The title is ironic, referring to the city lights that so tempt us at times, but yet do not have the enduring magnetism of the tantalising sunlight filtering through the trees as here in nature, based on a walk in the Schwarrzwald. It is about finding a magical safe place even when living in the city.
