About this artwork
"Campo de Decisiones" from the series "Procesos invisibles" translates biochemical and psychological processes into an abstract visual language. With tactile structures, shimmering surfaces, and shimmering light reflections, the work alludes to the cognitive processes of the brain, particularly in the context of strategic considerations.
Whether it's the next chess move, a well-aimed boxing punch, a precise football pass or a well-considered investment.…
The work opens up a quiet, contemplative space for the viewer, in which the eye wanders over the structured surfaces – as if over a terrain from a bird's eye view – to explore one's own paths and make decisions.
Janette Wölwer is a painter with a German-Spanish background who uses mixed media and incorporates her experience in dramaturgy, marketing, psychology, and meditation into her art. She works atmospherically and contemplatively, combining organic processes, tactile materiality, and the interplay of light and color into expressive abstract compositions. Her works make invisible biochemical processes of body and mind visible, filling the space with resonance and depth to evoke feelings of joy, balance, and tranquility in the viewer.
She is a member of the artist group Studio Zehn in Cologne, Germany.
