About this artwork
Janice’s inspiration for this painting came one day when she took a photograph of this magpie staring back at her, hence the title ‘I see you’. She has always been fascinated by birds, and has in the past been involved with a group of people going for ‘birding’ weekends, armed with books and binoculars. She has a real connection to birds and has combined the realism of the magpie with an abstracted background giving her the opportunity to use her…
