This wooden piece expresses the connection between nature and human geometry. I wanted to capture the sense of balance and lightness that invites contemplation. I imagine how its presence in your space will bring harmony and serene energy, merging the outdoors with the essence of art. It's a dialogue between the solid and the ethereal, transforming any environment.
« My works stand alone, they don't require a great speech, only harmony, peace, and energy. »
Jean-Baptiste Van den Heede is a Belgian sculptor and designer based in Spain whose pieces have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. With experience in design, as well as in art in general, sculpture, and calligraphy, his creative practice is inspired by the symbols of prehistory and its people. Van den Heede values "noble materials" without transforming them, often employing wood, stone, metal, fabric, or marble in his distinctive works. He collaborates with major art galleries and already has more than 30 works in various museums, private galleries, and collections.
