About this artwork
In this artwork, I wanted to capture the raw strength and inner majesty of the lion through bursts of color and semi-abstract forms. Each spray and stroke of acrylic paint expresses the untamed power and emotional complexity hidden behind its gaze. This canvas will bring a vibrant and inspiring energy to your space, blending freedom and intensity.
« The heterogeneous elements which collide and become entangled are the signs which challenge us and question us. »
Jean-Charles Toullec is a French painter whose works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout France. His art portrays varying themes, many of his compositions have recurring elements, such cityscapes, as animals and their interaction with humans, as well as faces and bodies. In the beginning of Toullec artistic process, there are often abstract elements to which the figurative theme is added. He employs acrylics, collages, stencils and spray paint, blending techniques with an intuitive and modern approach.
