About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the excitement of Times Square in the 1950s.
with a touch of nostalgic realism. Painted in oils, the scene evokes a bygone era, featuring a 1939 Mercury convertible automobile in a beautiful ivory color, which contrasts with the black and white of busy streets and retro advertisements.
Magnificence of a time when glamour and elegance reigned,
thus offering everyone a visual journey through time.
This painting… is a celebration of American history with timeless charm in any space it is displayed.
