About this artwork
The innocence of children is conveyed through vibrant colors and expressive forms. Each element and each brushstroke contributes to a visual whole that celebrates the wonder of childhood. It is a tribute to the naivety of children; an absolute magnificence. Its price has been increased due to the truly exceptional nature of the work and the artist's deep attachment to this painting, which he describes as "mystical," a kind of powerful good luck charm,… as attested by the artist himself.
This painting is directly inspired by the book: "Les Petits Enfants du siècle", a superb novel by Christiane Rochefort published by Grasset in 1961, one of the books that you must have read in your life.
Jean-Louis Azencott is a painter born in Oujda, Morocco. His work is close to the free figuration movement and is mainly influenced by pioneers in the field: Combas, Di Rosa... Azencott was also influenced by the painters of the Paris School, particularly Chagall, as well as by German Expressionism for its vivid colors. He lives and works in the Loiret region of France. To present this very short presentation about the artist AZENCOTT, a few words are enough to immediately crystallize the painter and his work. AZENCOTT. The painter, entirely painter, is indistinguishable from the man. Ignoring all norms of correctness, he paints in his garage converted into a studio. The bottle doesn't matter, as long as you get high.
