About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the vibrant and passionate essence of music. Each character, immersed in their instrument, represents a distinct yet essential note of a harmonious chord. Their synergy is expressed through the vivid colors and dynamic lines, evoking a concert where emotions flow freely. It is a tribute to the universality of music, a language that transcends words and resonates with the depth of our human experiences. This piece… will bring inspiring energy and a touch of sophistication to any home.
Jean Louis Mendrisse is a French painter and sculptor who has exhibited both nationally and in the Netherlands. His art depicts diverse emotions and moods, celebrating life and humanity in search of the past and meaning. Mendrisse also expresses the ephemeral through themes that include seduction, arguments, shyness, doubt, family, and dance. He paints using oils and acrylics on canvas or linen and also employs screen printing and lithography techniques. His sculptures are made with bronze, resin, and plastic.
