About this artwork
When I paint, I primarily seek to recapture the sensation of gazing upon a landscape: the light gliding over the rocks, the depth of the greens, the balance between the lines of the terrain and the horizontality of the fields. It is a slow, meticulous process, where each color attempts to convey the atmosphere of the place rather than its mere appearance.
Painting this landscape is, for me, a way of anchoring myself to this territory. I try to… capture that moment when nature, light, and human presence compose a simple, almost silent harmony.
