That day, in the mist of Anhui, the Yellow Mountains offered me their secret:
I was climbing the misty slopes of Huangshan, lost in the pale morning, when suddenly—shocking the grayness—this golden light set the peaks ablaze. This work was born from this visual shock, from this divine fracture between shadow and gold. I sought to capture the ephemeral, the granite that emerges, the mist… that tears away, and this sun that seems to spring from the mountain itself.
We can say that the moment was magical!
