About this artwork
This object in front of you is only ovoid long enough to say it! Indeed, a single gesture will make you disappear the shape, however metal. The object will become something else according to your imagination, your gestures, your will to see differently a reality delivered to your good will!
The sculptor offers you a "space partition" and it's your turn to play! Don't be afraid, the sculpture will take the shape you give it and if you don't like… it, you can return to the original shape in an instant, time to think about new movements.
Remember also that each element that makes up this modular sculpture is removable: you can remove some - or all - and reassemble them on the axis, as you wish, and then see the result. If you have put all the elements correctly, then you have all the material of the sculpture. It is only the way of seeing it that changes.
The elements are all numbered.

« "With the modularity of my sculptures, the spectator/collector is no longer just "looking". They become actors. I wrote the score, they become my interpreters." »
Jean Paul Boyer’s sculptures have been exhibited throughout his native France, Europe and China. Boyer continuously questions how to work with the air, or the “void”, that surrounds the material of the sculpture. He denies having a style, and allows himself the freedom to delve into all interpretations and techniques. His process starts by fabricating a model with any material he happens to have on hand, then the works evolve using wood, metal, marble, cardboard, etc.
