About this artwork
In the "convergence" project initiated by RentingArt (Clichy) I proposed to Renzo (see on Instagram: @renzo.arte) a geometric figure, a nod to his own geometric figures. And the result is astonishing as you can see in the photos. It has managed to keep its shapes even with the destructuring implied by the modularity of the proposed structure. Of course you only have a few avatars of the sculpture here. At home, you will have plenty of time to search…
through the thousands of possibilities it hides for THE figure you prefer. And maybe start again later to find a new vision of this work of art created with both hands.

« "With the modularity of my sculptures, the spectator/collector is no longer just "looking". They become actors. I wrote the score, they become my interpreters." »
Jean Paul Boyer’s sculptures have been exhibited throughout his native France, Europe and China. Boyer continuously questions how to work with the air, or the “void”, that surrounds the material of the sculpture. He denies having a style, and allows himself the freedom to delve into all interpretations and techniques. His process starts by fabricating a model with any material he happens to have on hand, then the works evolve using wood, metal, marble, cardboard, etc.
