About this artwork
This work is part of a "red skies" series. Its pretext is a landscape of Drôme Provençale in France. As often the work gives rise to a poetic "rebound" of the painter:
"Cabanon, sentinel of the fields where the tender grasses will die. In the surroundings, in the clear furrows, we watched the hope of the bluish tones appear.
I will come back mixed with the spirit of the real world. I will be the wind that caresses lavender.
For you I will… resurrect the old tree that guarded the entrance to the shelter. Distraught lovers, we will hear the lark sing over the lands of Albion. "
