About this artwork
Still in the dancers series, here is the black tutu.
Inspired by a Russian classical dancer for the attitude and posture, the painting is intended to evoke grace and lightness.
The color of the tutu is reminiscent of the black swan but I did not try to repeat the hairstyle, any more than the usual head carriage, so common in classical. Here once again it is lightness that takes precedence, no visible tension even if holding this position should… not be so simple.
