About this artwork
The painting "Mandolin, flute and orange juice" is a composition inspired by my fascination with musical instruments. I have always been captivated by their ability to produce melodious sounds, and it is this emotion that I wanted to transcribe in this work. The mandolin and the flute, placed on a table, evoke an intimate conversation between their light and soothing notes. Next to them, a glass of orange juice adds a touch of simplicity and everyday…
life, contrasting with the complexity of the instruments. In this scene, I imagine hearing them play, their sounds blending with the atmosphere, creating a perfect harmony, like a suspended moment where art and reality meet around a simple gesture: drinking orange juice.
