About this artwork
In this painting, I've channeled raw emotions and nature’s evanescent beauty using the expressive potential of oil paints. My strokes, textured and layered, delve into the depths of sensory experiences and memories. The cascade of blues and earth tones illustrates the constant flux of life, inviting viewers to explore their personal reflections amidst the movement and serenity that interweave through the canvas. This piece is meant to evoke a sense… of peace and inspiration, transforming any space into a sanctuary of thought and emotion.
Large scale abstract in Oil paint. This work was inspired by water, rain, and the sun sparkling off of the water creating magical movement. The splashes create a beautiful flow and soft serenity. Splashes, drips, and colours. blue, white, movement, expressionism, ocean, water, cool, colours, meditate, nature, oil, paint, canvas.
« My style has evolved from a strong background in figure drawing and classical painting. Being fully present in the process, and experimenting excites me most about creating abstract art. »
Jeanette Jarville is an award-winning International artist from Vancouver, BC, Canada. She is gallery represented in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Montreal, QC, Canada, in Carmel, California, USA, and worldwide through Singulart. Jeanette received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the renowned Emily Carr University of Art in Vancouver and attended the Weissensee Fine Art Academy in Berlin, Germany. Her paintings have been internationally exhibited and collected worldwide. She describes her creative process as a "expressive positive energy flowing through her", a dance between form and abstraction. Jeanette uses her years of training in classical oil painting to create depth and layers within her contemporary abstract works. Her imagination, the organic shapes and movement found in nature and water, and the gestures in human form, all inspire her work. Titles are also an important part of her pieces, as they weave stories and begin or can direct a dialogue with the viewer.
