About this artwork
This painting was commissioned by Fiske Planetarium - located at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado - and was included in an audio visual presentation entitled "Distant Worlds". In this piece, I poured my fascination with distant worlds into every brushstroke, using oil to blend soft greens and surreal yellows. I wanted to evoke the quiet mystery of a fragile alien landscape under the glow of an enormous orb, inviting viewers to dream…
beyond our Earth. This painting will bring a serene, otherworldly energy to any space, sparking curiosity and wonder.
