artist began making wire sculptures at the time of the financial crisis, when it was very difficult to sell any work of art, so this was a way to continue her sculpture without the cost of casting bronze figures that would eventually accumulate in your study. She began using pencil drawings she had made of her husband, Alberto, to make two-dimensional sculptures using wire and experimenting with different gauges of wire, mesh, and iron plate.

Jenifer Carey is a painter, printmaker, and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United Kingdom. Music, especially jazz, is one of the main recurring themes in her art. Carey employs engraving and sculptural techniques for the faces of her subjects, whose hands and movements are always expressive. In addition, she portrays her observations and life experiences in order to "capture a moment". She creates using oils on canvas.
