About this artwork
This sculpture was inspired by watching the 1979 film "All that jazz" by Bob Fosse. Was able to "freeze" the image to make the drawing
.This sculpture, forged from cast iron, captures the vibrant energy of jazz. Each figure, from the trumpeter to the drummer, propels himself with a rhythm of his own, a dance frozen in metal. When creating it, I wanted to transmit the passion and spontaneity of jazz, where each note vibrates in space and time, creating… an environment full of life and movement. This work not only decorates, it animates any space with its rhythm and musical soul.

« Every day is full of moments; each moment reveals its individual flavor and texture, its unique beauty, and joy. This constant journey of discovery offers me a new inspiration to think and share. »
Jenifer Carey is a painter, printmaker, and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United Kingdom. Music, especially jazz, is one of the main recurring themes in her art. Carey employs engraving and sculptural techniques for the faces of her subjects, whose hands and movements are always expressive. In addition, she portrays her observations and life experiences in order to "capture a moment". She creates using oils on canvas.
