It is expressionist, modern and with a lot of color, movement and atmosphere. Jennifer stopped time for a moment, but not action. In his painting you can still hear the music, the chatter of the customers, there is the smell of tobacco, sweat and cheap perfume. You can hear the low and sensual double bass like the… voice of Lauren Bacall, the happy and syncopated piano plucking, the drums and the double bass marking and combining the frequency of the rhythm of the hearts.

Jenifer Carey is a painter, printmaker, and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United Kingdom. Music, especially jazz, is one of the main recurring themes in her art. Carey employs engraving and sculptural techniques for the faces of her subjects, whose hands and movements are always expressive. In addition, she portrays her observations and life experiences in order to "capture a moment". She creates using oils on canvas.
