About this artwork
In creating this piece, I was drawn to evoke the ethereal and perpetual nature of existence. The swirling tones of crimson and cream capture the fiery warmth and soothing calm of life's cycle. Each stroke is imbued with emotion, aiming to resonate a sense of infinite comfort and passionate energy in any space it occupies. This work seeks to remind us of life’s everlasting embrace, beautifully abstract, and profoundly moving.
"Life everlasting" is… a warm, dramatic, dynamic painting dedicated to wild life and movement. It has a beautiful earthy and fiery palette, and intense, expressionist brush work. The painting moves upwards in a spiral, like a helix, the dance of life. It is full of light and power, while still being subtle and contemplative. It is a statement of life on the wall.

There is a poetry in the natural world, a lyrical beauty and power. My work is a meditation on my own connection to the majesty of the natural world. I am a recent cancer survivor, and my latest body of work reflects the light I sought at the end of the tunnel, the light I capture from the natural world and transmute into my paintings. My work is an expression of my own will to thrive and live, even through the most intense suffering.
My paintings have been exhibited in Europe and the USA, and are part of private collections in 18 countries.
I live for half the year in the mountains of northern Italy, and for the other half in the Colorado Rockies.
My experience defeating breast cancer is the driving force behind my body of work this year. The power of nature is the power of life.
