About this artwork
Original oil painting on stretched canvas. I painted this beautiful little pom dog for my husband as a gift. He was with us for 13 years and he is sorely missed. His beautiful coat of fur and his wonderful disposition was hard to capture in this oil painting.
« I must be truly inspired in order to enter my sanctuary/studio and paint a canvas. »
Jenny Lee is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Having always wanted to live near beaches and the ocean, once she began painting seascapes she couldn't stop. In Lee's vivid compositions, the color blue is predominant and is inspired by the blue of the Pacific Ocean. She most often creates using acrylics and oils on canvas.
