In this work, I captured the vastness and tumult of the mountains through expressive knife strokes and palettes of deep blues and greens. My mother painted. She left very early, she had time to pass on the desire to paint to me but not the technique.
This lack of technique pushed me to seek my own path, an artistic journey that continues today.
I have always drawn but it was Gilles Dumas, a painter from Meudon, who freed me from technique and allowed me to take action.
He taught me the art of "patouiller" (the freedom of mixing techniques)
Since then, I always look with the desire to draw and paint what I feel!
