About this artwork
The Rhythm series questions the perception of colors, depth of field and spatiality.
The contrasts are juxtaposed in order to confuse our own vision by playing with the relationship of the shades between them. The rhythm created by the lines provides movement and allows the eye to move in an organized way on the canvas. The distance from the work gives a monochromatic rendering, while on approach the… nuances take shape. This series was exhibited in Geneva in 2011 and in 2012 in London.
