In this work, I wanted to capture the power and fluidity of the ocean, blending deep blue with touches of gold to evoke light and movement. Each brushstroke translates the tumultuous energy of the waves, and the resin brings an almost tactile depth. Joëlle Darmon is an award-winning artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Inspired by Fauvism and Expressionism, she describes her artistic quest as being nourished by the richness of landscapes, the sea, flora, and fauna. However, Joëlle Darmon's "aspirations" gravitate towards abstraction and semi-abstractism, where she finds themes connected to her sensitivity and creativity. Her works speak of hope, serenity, freedom, and the preservation of nature. Joëlle Darmon has received an I-CAC Certified Artist Rating Index, is listed on ARTPRICE, and has appeared in the dictionary of listed artists from the 15th century to the present day since 2022.
