About this artwork
In this passionate dance of latex, I've transcended traditional forms to evoke a deep emotional resonance. Bold geometric shapes and contrasting colors clash and harmonize, creating a dynamic visual experience that symbolizes the ebb and flow of life's emotions. This piece will infuse any space with the vibrant energy of expressive creation, stirring the soul with its abstract narrative. This painting is clear coated for preservation,
Jo Paff is a United States Marine Corps combat veteran turned contemporary artist, whose work blends discipline, emotion, and experience. Before his 20-year military service, he studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Nebraska in Omaha under Peter Hill and Sidney “Buzz” Buchanan. Now based in New Mexico, he creates bold, contemporary hard edge paintings marked by geometric precision and deep humanity. In 2025, Paff received international recognition with the International Prize: The New Great Masters (New York/Dubai) and the Leonardo Da Vinci Universal Artist Award (Milan). His work reflects a life of resilience, sacrifice, and creative reinvention — a visual language shaped by courage and transformation. His painting was awarded "Best in Show" for the Square
Exhibition with the CEV Art Gallery in 2025.
