The Seventh Portal is born from an experience that cannot be fully explained in words: that instant when two presences recognize each other and something invisible opens between them.
In this work, I explore the figure as a symbol of profound connection. Blue and red represent two distinct energies that, when they meet, generate tension, balance, and openness.
Within my Chromanarrativist language, color doesn't simply accompany the scene: it… constructs the narrative. The portal appears as an emotional threshold, a space of transformation where love ceases to be an idea and becomes an inner experience.
This painting speaks of that unique place that can only be accessed when something real happens between two beings.

Born in Austria in 1971, JOWU transformed his life into a work of art. After restoring an ancient castle, he found refuge and truth in painting. A self-taught artist with a solid background in realism, he developed Chromanarrativism: a style born of isolation, where the order of the Bauhaus merges with the intensity of Neo-expressionism, amplified by the narrative of color.
