About this artwork
With passion, fluidity, and ease, I created these peonies in watercolor. Painted using the wet-on-wet technique, my watercolor captures the delicate nature of the flowers with a flowing, soft, almost poetic style. The blurred transitions and gently blended edges give the flowers an ethereal appearance. Some blossoms are fully open, while others are still in bud or just beginning to unfold. The suggested green leaves, blending with gray-blue tones,… add depth to the work. The vibrant reds are intended to radiate energy and joy, while the soft pastels convey tranquility and harmony. This piece will bring a lively freshness and a hopeful atmosphere to any room.
As an artist, I am always looking for dialogue, for the emotional connection that arises between me, my work, and you as the viewer.
