About this artwork
With passion, fluidity, and ease, I created these peonies in watercolor. Painted using the wet-on-wet technique, my watercolor captures the delicate nature of the flowers with a flowing, soft, almost poetic style. The blurred transitions and gently blended edges give the flowers an ethereal appearance. Some blossoms are fully open, while others are still in bud or just beginning to unfold.
