About this artwork
The artwork is an ironic viewpoint of the the animal heads that adorn trophy rooms worldwide. Firstly it is a human head, an animal not usually represented in these trophy rooms, and with an expression of screaming agony, an emotion carefully removed from the heads of traditional hunters victims. Secondly the material it is made of is that of soda cans which represent the waste discarded thoughtlessly by mankind, often with massive implications…
for nature. the questions raised may be: will nature revolt and man become the trophy or will nature gradually evolve to be made of waste from humans?
