About this artwork
This creation combines the solidity of metal with the fluidity of movement. Designed from an old chain and clutch disc, reinvented through arc welding, it expresses the principle of rebirth: giving new life to matter, transforming the tool into a symbol, the mechanical object into an artistic presence.
At the heart of the composition, the spiral stands out as a sign of continuity. It seems to shelter the light, enveloping it to better preserve… its vibration, in a tense balance between strength and harmony.
The deliberately raw surface of the metal interacts with the warm glow of the light source, establishing a contrast between industrial austerity and an almost living form of humanity.
Designed for interior spaces, this work combines the robustness of iron with the sensitivity of gesture. Light becomes an extension of the metal, like a visible pulse, a breath frozen in the material.

Jonathan Pradillon is a French painter and sculptor who has exhibited nationally. His abstract compositions translate themes of philosophy and nature through the symbolism of color and geometry. Pradillon also conveys messages about everyday life and the society which surrounds us in his pieces. His paintings are usually created using acrylics, brushes, knives and acrylic markers. When sculpting, he often marries opposing elements such as wood and metal in a continuous search for new possibilities of expression.
