About this artwork
Inerme is a two-part composition that explores sadness as an intimate process of fragility and silent resilience. In the first image, sadness is presented as a veil that obscures the inner light, a state that weighs heavily and demands clarity and renewal in the face of the gloom of unease.
The second part delves deeper into that state: the figure remains upright, holding an empty cage and a trailing fabric, symbols of absence, memory, and emotional… burden that does not dissipate, but is integrated into a bare and suspended landscape.
Inerme does not seek immediate answers, but rather to reveal the intimate resistance that dwells in every moment of fragility.
