For me, flowers symbolically represent the joy of living, desire, beauty, the ephemeral nature of existence, decay and death, it is a kind of complete life cycle. Painting flowers means being connected with something true and deep within me, with nature outside and inside and ultimately it is a celebration of life and painting.
