About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the stillness and cold of winter with minimalist realism. It shows the hope of light after a snowstorm, the dawn, the end of winter. I used oil paint to convey the texture of the icy air and the fragility of those two intertwined trees, a symbol of resilience and companionship. I want whoever holds it to feel peace and reflection, a pause to connect with the pure and simple essence of life.
