Self-Portrait of My Death. The title explains everything. My vision of death as part of life. Without any fear of speaking about it. An inert body that does not suffer but transforms into light. What once was no longer exists, only its shadow. Liberation towards something greater. At peace with what I leave behind.

José González is a self-taught painter who constantly explores new materials and techniques, developing his own personal style. He uses a figurative style with erratic and distorted strokes, where the brushstrokes suggest figures and objects without defining details, always in motion. His work transports the viewer through the past, present, and future, seeking to recapture experiences and provoke critical reflection.
