About this artwork
I present to you the beginning of the creation of the GEISHA 00096 SERIES, we will be uploading photos of the process so that you can observe the evolution of the work.
I hope you find this initiative interesting because for me it means opening my studio so that the client can follow my work, from new photos you will be able to see this creation.
In this work I will merge acrylic, collage and enamel to explore emotional depth and human complexity… through an expressionist and figurative style. The vibrant use of colour and texture creates a captivating presence, with elements of collage adding a narrative and critical dimension. This piece is a testament to personal resilience and evolution, ideal for enriching any space with its energy and message of continuous transformation.

« My restlessness makes me constantly think about my characters. »
Josep Pozo is a Spanish painter who has exhibited his works in numerous solo events nationally. While he says his style isn't singular, but varied, one of the main features in his compositions is the ambiguity of the characters he portrays. Pozo highlights their characteristics and leaves it up to the viewer to create a narrative around their stories. He employs mixed techniques based on acrylics and collage, recycling different materials in order to obtain rich textures.
