About this artwork
S.O.S. is the title of this work. This work was like a cry from my soul for help, in such a turbulent time that we have faced in recent months in Angola. Increased transport costs, unusual demonstrations, some people lost their lives in search of a better day or a better life, fighting for our rights as Humans has never been a crime. But in general, the world cries out for mercy, and only JESUS will save us from the chaos in which this world finds… itself. The lack of empathy, kindness, and love has disappeared from the world, because we live in chaos. I want to represent that we are each other's miracle. Angola celebrates 50 years of independence, it still has traumas, but I believe that we are walking with hope, sowing love and peace and reaping good fruits.
