The work is not simply a portrait of the animal; it is the capture of a moment of pure adrenaline and confrontation. The fighting bull abruptly stops its run and stares directly at the viewer (hence the title).
Vibrant ochre colors emulate the color of her skin, with intense red undertones highlighting her bravery. For the texture of the ground, cool and intense colors recreate the activity of dust and dry power. It is the visual anchor of movement… and tension.
