Irish landscapes, steeped in melancholy, are alluring. This is the artist's personal reinterpretation of the town of Enniskillen in Northern Ireland. The blue of the water contrasts with the green of the vegetation, all under a dramatic, threatening, overcast sky. The wind blows, and the waters, as in a Yeats poem, ripple.
