About this artwork

Rippling down the wall in a gorgeous warm palette that begins with pale pink and peach, merging through orange and coral red and resulting in deep, dramatic burgundy and black. Interspersed with metallic gold, this is a highly unique painting created from hundreds of drips applied like brushstrokes over a hand-made sculpture.

I make the rippling wall sculptures to your dimensions and colour scheme. Quotes are based on size.

This work is fitted… with D rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back, you will find my signature, initials, title, and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists). The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Biography

Based in Melbourne, Julee Latimer creates dynamic, textural works that challenge traditional painting. By pouring paint onto plastic surfaces and peeling it away, she treats the medium as a solid material, blending elements of textiles with three-dimensional form. Each piece is crafted through extensive cutting and assembly, resulting in intricate, tactile compositions.

Her work has been recognized as a finalist in major art prizes and is held in international collections, including Hotel Capella (Sydney), Hotel Conrad Orchard (Singapore) and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (Chicago, USA).
