About this artwork
In my work, created with acrylic, pencil and ink in an abstract manner, I explore the interplay of passion and transformation. The dynamic, almost fiery swirls and the radiant gold reflect the play of colors of the rising sun.
A mixture of chaos and order that evokes deep emotions in the warm reds and calming yellows. This painting is not only a visual experience, but also a mirror of the human soul, which is in constant movement and development,… yet maintains its inner beauty. It brings a lively and inspiring energy to any room in which it hangs.

Sophie Kunze, with a background in expressive dance and craft arts, works primarily with acrylic paints and mixes her medium on raw cotton fabric. Her techniques vary and range from wet-on-wet to mixed media, using everyday tools to apply the paints. Her organic structures and fluid movements reflect empathy, transparency and the shift in consciousness that she describes as the courage to change.
