About this artwork
While working in a perennial garden, tending to the plants, I suddenly discovered a group of irises. They stood upright, opening their blossoms as wide as they could, showcasing stunning color combinations. This captivated me, and the irises seemed almost like queens among the plants. I then painted the iris bloom in all its vibrant hues. During the painting process, I not only perceived the blossom but also felt a gentle, soft energy of femininity…
that seemed to merge with the iris bloom.
