The picture, with its bright colors, colorful Easter eggs, and appliquéd embroidery, conveys a cheerful and fresh feeling. I created the piece on a wooden panel, collaged elements of an embroidered tablecloth, and used oil paint. In one area, I carved into the wood. The two faces are drawn with fine pencil lines. The different materials combine to create a spring scene. The picture is framed with handcrafted solid wood.
