“Golfer’s Paradise 1” is a charming painting depicting an American country club in the west. The beauty of the mountains in the back gives a shimmer after a winter snow, and there is pleasant weather to practice putting or play a round of golf with friends. The colors are bright and cheery. The greens are built up with four to five layers of green paint to indicate the lawn. A favorite America pastime has got to be golf!

Julie Pace Hoff is an experienced US painter with international exposure. Hoff graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California before becoming an instructor at Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. She has dubbed her style "Aesthetic American Folk Art," constituting impressions of American middle-class suburban life over the last seventy-five years
