About this artwork
In this artwork, two dogs approach us. The Labrador seems content and brings a stick to play with; its tail wags in joy. The other, smaller dog arrives with a mischievous look. A sign forbids dogs from urinating, but they ignore it. Despite the prohibition, they cannot fight their natural instincts, and one urinates on the sign. This artwork prompts reflection on the fact that, despite societal prohibitions, we remain beings driven by our own nature,… which we must not struggle against.
Lives and works in Cannes, Alpes-Maritimes, France.
I started with music and music composition at the age of 17. I composed various styles of electronic music, ranging from trip hop and drum and bass to rock, pop, electro-break, and even film scores. Like a conductor, for each piece, I created the sound and the part for each instrument.
I have dedicated myself to painting for about ten years, and it is through line, black on white, that I began to create my universe. In addition to the graphic parallel between writing a musical score and my pictorial creations, I have worked on the "body" as a territory, a playful or dreamlike journey.
Since 2017 I have dedicated myself to colour in a contrasting and colourful universe where characters, animals and situations deal with current themes and issues…
