About this artwork
In this work, I expressed an intense mix of conflicting emotions through fragmented figures and a bold palette. Each element symbolizes a part of our humanity, sometimes dark, sometimes light. Lives and works in Cannes, Alpes-Maritimes, France.
I started with music and music composition at the age of 17. I composed various styles of electronic music, ranging from trip hop and drum and bass to rock, pop, electro-break, and even film scores. Like a conductor, for each piece, I created the sound and the part for each instrument.
I have dedicated myself to painting for about ten years, and it is through line, black on white, that I began to create my universe. In addition to the graphic parallel between writing a musical score and my pictorial creations, I have worked on the "body" as a territory, a playful or dreamlike journey.
Since 2017 I have dedicated myself to colour in a contrasting and colourful universe where characters, animals and situations deal with current themes and issues…
