About this artwork
In this painting, I tried to capture the fleeting beauty of the everyday. The cherries are lifelike, almost tangible, while the bee just flying past adds a moment of dynamism and a magical presence. I wanted this work to evoke a sense of peace and attention to the small things in the home, a quiet ode to the simple yet special.
