About this artwork
Wild is a spontaneous production resulting from the collaboration with the artists Célia Pinton and Flora Brousse during the creative residency Alablanca / Chez Gina which took place at the Casa Musicale in Perpignan (North Catalonia) during the year 2006-2007. The work initially in full color gave rise to a remastering in 2024 at the Non Ouverte gallery in Brussels (Belgium) in the tones of the anarchist flag following discussions with André Robèr… of the Treize El Taller gallery.
The paint on the model is a set of layers of gouache applied directly to the skin and the lighting is done by Theater Fresnels to approximate the stage atmosphere of contemporary dance.
The current prints from the series are made with Digigraphie technologies in Brussels and supplied with the gallery's certificate of authenticity. These are certified unique prints of which no reproduction has been authorized outside the gallery's collections.
