About this artwork
Sometimes, the loudest moments are when I fall silent. "Blue Silence" is my portrait of that moment, frozen in the eternal depth of the color blue. I didn't want to just paint a face, but also the inner world hidden behind closed eyelids.
Every shade of blue—from the deep, marine darkness to the bright, heavenly azure—represents a layer of emotions, thoughts, and memories for me. With bold and expressive brushstrokes, I created a landscape of the… soul, where the storms have subsided and thoughts have become as clear as a starry night sky.
The inward gaze expressed by the closed eyes is not merely a withdrawal from the outside world. For me, it is a journey to the center of oneself. With this work, I want to invite the viewer to also immerse themselves in their own silence and find peace in this universal blue.
"Blue Silence" is my ode to introspection, to the power of inner peace, and to the beauty found in quiet, unspoken moments.
