About this artwork
Acrylic on canvas
Size: 50×70cm
This painting unfolds like a forest filled with hidden voices and shifting colors.
Layers of pink, yellow, green, blue, and orange overlap like fragments of whispered stories carried by the wind.
Geometric shapes, scribbles, and organic patterns appear as traces of leaves, footsteps, and distant echoes moving through the trees.
The composition evokes the feeling of wandering inside an enchanted forest—where every… color seems to speak, and every texture hints at a secret waiting to be discovered.
A translucent vinyl-like layer gently envelops the shifting colors and patterns, quietly reflecting the depth of nature’s memories and emotions.
I am an abstract painter based in Berlin, working with layers of washi tape, torn edges, and quiet color fields. My practice explores the space between silence and expression — a place where inner emotion and outer reality begin to resonate. Through layered surfaces and subtle shifts of texture, I create compositions that feel like vibrations held in stillness. Each work carries a quiet energy, inviting the viewer into a moment of pause — a lightness in the chest that cannot be fully explained. My approach is rooted in years of working with paper, collage, and the physical act of layering. Before moving to Berlin, I was the first Japanese resident artist at Kunsthaus Tacheles, an experience that shaped my understanding of art as dialogue and shared space. Every painting is an attempt to create such a space — a place where something unnamed can be felt.
